My name is Andrea Chesnut. When I am not in the shop covered in sawdust you can find me spending time on the farm with my husband or chasing our six kids or sneaking off for some quiet time in the pasture with the cows and talks with God.
Woodworking is something that I have always been around from when I was a small girl following my Daddy around with my toolbelt “helping” him. This business is named after my sweet daddy, Andy, who I got my nickname Andi from and who taught me all about woodworking and life.
This business is never something I had ever dreamed of, I really just stumbled upon it. Working on the Fire Department I found I wanted to have a hobby to do in my free time on my days off. I bought a scrollsaw and began creating. Little did I know that was something that God was starting within me, bringing a talent to light that I had never known was there. Later on after a severe back injury I found myself without the dream job I had planned to retire from, hardly able to walk, and this little business where so many supported which helped me get back on my feet over the past few years.
I have been given so many amazing opportunities over the years, each year God revealing so much more talent through the hard work and determination. God has laid on my heart to do what He created me to do, build beautiful furniture, create art, be the best mother I can be, love my husband with every fiber in my soul and most importantly trust in Gods plan. I never pictured my life turning out this way but God is so good and has shown me to trust in this walk with Him and He will take care of the rest.
I am so thankful for each and every one of you. I could not have made this little hobby that started in my garage to the business that it has grown to be without all of your support. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
